Dance is an innate form of expression for people, every where in the world from every culture people dance. Dance Theory asserts two things: first that the dance world in becoming enthralled by what was done in a dance has begun to lose sight of how dance is created and why we dance in the first place. Second that dance as a form of performance/choreography to look good and dance as a form of connection/improvisation to feel good have been collapsed with each other. These two things are causing people to focus on a movement rather than the technique and feeling that makes the movement come to life, the world of improvised dance, especially dances between more than one person, to be slowly forgotten, and dancers to hold styles of dance higher than simply dance....
